For best results, we recommend placing your doormat in an area with low traffic and they must be kept in a dry place such as an enclosed/covered porch, outer hallway, garage, etc . Things like blowing rain and wet weather will cause the bristles of coir to shed. They are 100% natural fibers from the husks of coconuts and once wet the print can appear faded or smeared due to loss of fibers.
